About Eduardo Santiago
With over 30 years of experience as a fine art instructor and artist, I have collaborated with a variety of clients. I specialize in creating stunning custom portraits from life and photos. My passion for art drives me to produce unique and visually appealing works that leave a lasting impression. Whether you're interested in a live wedding painting for your special day or a personalized portrait, I can help bring your ideas to life.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, I studied painting at Puerto Rico’s Inter-American University, The School of Visual Arts in NY, and the Art Students League of NY. I received my art degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY.
Among the awards I've received are 1st place in the “50 Best Artists of the Treasure Coast” art show at the Loft Gallery in Ft. Pierce, FL, along with several first-place finishes in the A.E. Backus Museum's 29th, 30th, and 32nd Annual Juried Art Exhibitions.
For the past 30 years, I've painted commissioned portraits and have been actively teaching drawing and painting, most recently at the Elliott Museum on Hutchinson Island and at the House of Music PSL, FL.
